Danny and Laura

Founded: It was 2016 and the vision of Hearts and Minds was birthed out of a desire to create a safe and welcoming space. A place where people are able to let their guard down without fear of judgement, a cornerstone in the community for all to call their own.

The Vision: This took place while Danny an ex Australian veteran was overseas serving in the Royal Marine Commandos. Together with his wife Laura who had worked in the hair industry for a number of years. They took their vision to Australia to launch Hearts and Minds which now currently consists of two busy barber shops, specialty coffee bar and a creative studio for editorial work. Hearts and Minds have released a collection of men’s street clothing and men’s grooming products.

Our Aim: To support our veterans as we understand the issues they face, a dollar from every product purchased will go directly to Mates for Mates charity. We also endeavour to support our local community by holding quarterly mental health awareness groups within our shops. Hosting guest speakers and hearing their stories.
